You only live once, and as overused as this saying is, it’s true! The quality of your life is in large part up to you. You can be mediocre, let each day pass without intention, and BOOM, before you know it, you’ll be looking back and reflecting on all the “what ifs.” Orrrr, you can strive to be your best self and do whatever it takes to live without regrets for as long as possible. I don’t know about you guys, but the second option sounds a lot more fulfilling and FUN!

Caitlin Smith, shown here wearing our Kiss Me Mini Dress, is a real go-getter. I admire her drive for creative success while staying true to herself.  It's clear that Caitlin finds a way to enjoy this journey called life- and she always looks flawaless doing too!

KISS ME MINI DRESS TALULAH

I strongly believe that living your best life does not need to be complicated, so I put together this list of simple ways that can help you live your best life.

Morning Routine!

Whether you are a morning person or a night owl, I encourage you to set a morning routine that fills your soul with good energy for the rest of the day! The morning is when you come face to face with new opportunities and new challenges. Your morning routine sets the tone for the rest of the day, so try to make something to create a sense of calm at once, little changes can help you start your day on the right foot. It might be writing in your diary, doing a stretching set, drinking a cup of tea, reading a book, or going on a walk! When we use the mornings to nourish our minds and bodies, we are unstoppable!

Forgive and Forget Daily.

Are you someone who usually holds grudges? Hey-no hate! We have all been guilty of this, and while it is important to reflect on the possibly toxic relationships in your life, forgiving and forgetting has massive health and happiness benefits. Researchers have studied what happens when people are able to feel empathy, compassion, and understanding toward others who have harmed them, essentially letting go of toxic anger. Tactics can help you be more forgiving: journaling with a focus on being empathetic.

Prioritize your social relationships.

It is so easy to let friendships fade and relationships with family members move to the back burner when these should be what takes top priority. When we feel loved, supported, and listened to our stress level is lower. Supportive relationships also positively affect our health and reduce wear and tear on the body caused by chronic stress. Plus, the people who care for you probably encourage you to do things like exercise and eat right.

Daily Mediation.

Daily Mediation- the practice of staying present and mindful for a limited period of time-can have numerous benefits for our mental and physical health. Let me be honest with you guys, I was soooo skeptical about meditating. I really didn’t think I could do it and I didn’t understand the hype around it either. But omg I was so wrong! When we meditate, we can enhance our focus and decision-making and lessen our feelings of fear and stress. Ultimately, we can experience a greater sense of calm, clarity, and focus in our lives.
